New music should be coming from Tool and Bush.Remember Silverchair?

Tool singer Maynard James Keenan is getting impatient with his bandmates. Keenan publicly called them out last weekend at a show at the Northern Invasion Festival, asking them to finish recording their parts for the band's long-awaited new album. Keenan says he can't move forward with his work until that happens. The album is expected to be released later this year or early next year.

Former Silverchair singer Daniel Johns is opening up about his battle with mental illness. In an interview with Australian television host Andrew Denton, Johns said he's had a "pretty serious" anxiety disorder for 15-years. He revealed that he used to self-medicate with alcohol, but has since turned to therapy and medication.

Gavin Rossdale is teasing Bush fans with new music. During a Twitter chat, he revealed that progress is being made toward an album. Bush is touring this summer with Stone Temple Pilots and The Cult. Rossdale says the new music they're working on is "heavier" and comes from an "angrier" perspective. He said they plan to hit the studio shortly after their summer tour wraps.

The co-writer of the Aerosmith classic "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" is revealing that the song was inspired by Motley Crue singer Vince Neil. In a recent interview, Desmond Child said the dude in the single off the 1987 album "Permanent Vacation" was inspired by Steven Tyler mistaking Neil for a woman. He recalled Tyler admitting he once mistook Neal for a pretty woman from behind at a bar.
