Hegwood Biloxi Community Market:  The Downtown Biloxi Farmer’s Market will be open on Howard Avenue, under the I-110 overpass from 7am-5pm.

Thursday, Aug 17th:

3rd Thursday Bicycle Ride and Dine:  a free, community bike ride that starts on the Town Green on Jeff Davis Avenue in Long Beach.  They’ll do a 5-mile loop through downtown Long Beach, followed by an optional Dutch treat dinner stop at the end of the ride.  You need a bike and helmet for this one.  297-6166.  It starts at 6pm.

Friday, Aug 18th:

It’s another ‘Third Friday’ in downtown Pascagoula from 5-8pm.  Live music, local artists, activities, and more.

Cinema by the Shore at Jones Park in Gulfport Friday, with pre-activities starting at 6:30pm.  They’ll show the movie “Sing” at dusk (7:45pm)   www.gulfport-ms-gov

Saturday, Aug 19th:

NASA Stennis Space Center and the Pass Christian Public Library are teaming up for “An Eclipse to Remember” from 10-noon at the Library.  Free to learn more about the upcoming solar edclipse, where you can see it, how you should look at it and more.  452-4596 www.harrison.lib.ms.us

John Kay and Steppenwolf are at the Hard Rock at 8pm Friday night.  Tix are $30, plus the ticketmaster fee.

“The Gambler’s Last Deal” is Kenny Rogers farewell world tour.  These concerts will feature a look back at his 50-plus year career, and he’s singing songs he hasn’t performed in years.  8pm Friday night at the Beau Rivage.  Tix start at about $60-bucks.

Mickey Gilley is at the IP Casino Saturday night at 8pm.  Tix are $25 (plus ticketmaster fee)
