Dec. 7-23: Annual Christmas at BeauvoirThe garden and the historic Oak trees at Beauvoir, The Jefferson Davis Home and Presidential Library, 2244 Beach Blvd., will light up for the holidays. Saturday, Dec. 9: Woolmarket Christmas ParadeThe inaugural Woolmarket Christmas parade begins at 2:30 p.m. on Shorecrest Road south of the bridge at Eagle Point. The parade will travel north on Shorecrest, east on Lorraine Road, north on John Lee Road, and end at Woolmarket Elementary School, 12513 John Lee Road. Santa Claus Woolmarket Elementary School gym with hot chocolate and the public will be able to decorate the Christmas tree. Wednesday Dec. 13 and Thursday, Dec. 14: North Pole CallingSanta, Mrs. Claus and their Elves will be calling children, preschoolers up to Grade 2, to see if they are ready for the arrival of Christmas in this free program sponsored by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department and co-sponsored by the Biloxi Fire and Police Department and the Biloxi High JROTC. Parents/guardians must complete an application, indicate specific details that only Santa would know and chose a time between 6 and 8 p.m. that your child will be available to receive a phone call. Friday, Dec. 15: Senior LuncheonAdults age 55 and older are invited to enjoy a holiday fest with the Parks & Recreation Department from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Donal M. Snyder Sr. Community Center, 2520 Pass Road. Christmas music will fill the gymnasium floor and door prizes will be given away. Bring a dessert. Dec. 15-18: Tour the replicas of the Columbus Ships the Nina and PintaTour the incredible replica ships at the Biloxi Schooner Pier, 367 Beach Blvd. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. $8.50 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, and $6 for ages 5 to 16. Sunday, Dec. 17: Santa Claus at the Fire Museum“Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” and visiting the West End Hose Co. No. 3 Fire Museum from 1 to 3 p.m. All children are invited to spend the afternoon at the Fire Museum at 1046 Howard Ave., talk with Santa, enjoy snacks and listen to Christmas music. Tuesday, Dec. 19: Bike Biloxi Christmas rideBiloxi Main Street’s monthly Bike Biloxi takes on a Christmas theme this month when cyclists are asked to wear their favorite ugly Christmas sweater or jersey during the 6.5 mile ride, which begins at 6 p.m. at the Biloxi Visitors Center. Sunday, Dec. 31: New Year’s Eve Oyster Ball Drop & FireworksThe Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum hosts its annual New Year’s Eve celebration from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres, a full bar, champagne, photo booth, party favors, Beignets & Coffee to go and live entertainment by the Blackwater Brass Band. $90 per couple and $50 per person. Snowflakes in the Bay:  The Live Oaks are decorated with lighted snowflakes throughout the business areas of Bay St. Louis and Waveland through Dec. 31st.

Enjoy Christmas at Beauvoir each Thursday, Friday and Saturday between Dec. 7 and 23rd.  Thursday is family Christmas movie night, $5 for a family of four.  Friday and Saturday stoll the grounds, meet Santa, and hear carolers on the front porch.
