The fireworks shows aren’t quite over for us.  IP and Scarlet Pearl are having an encore fireworks show Saturday night at 9.  You’ll be able to watch from the top floor of the IP parking garage, and Scarlet Pearl’s Back Bay parking lot.  You can bring lawn chairs and blankets, but no outside fireworks will be allowed at either casino.  

It's Long Beach Live, Finally First Friday on the Town Green Friday night.  The free event includes live music at 7, classic cars and local businesses will be open late.

Biloxi Main Street continues its First Friday events July 6th. This 3-hour lively, fun event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will take place in downtown Biloxi restaurants and shops, through-out Rue Magnolia and the Biloxi Art District, where shops will stay open late.  Event goers will have an opportunity to participate in a Downtown Biloxi Stars & Stipes Scavenger Hunt, have fun and win prizes!   For more information call 228-435-6339 or visit the Biloxi Main Street facebook page or www.mainstreetbiloxi.com.

The St. Martin Public Library will host Fingerprinting for Safety on Wednesday, July 11, beginning at 11 a.m. at the library meeting room. This Smart Parenting program will be offering a free fingerprinting service for children at the Library. Parents and caregivers should take advantage of this common safety measure to aid law enforcement in finding children and individuals with special needs if they go missing. Fingerprints can be used to help locate the child or adult in a variety of ways.  The program will follow the children’s Summer Library program and will include free pizza and beverages for all who register and parents/guardians.  For more information or to register, call the library at 392-3250. The West Harrison High School Football Gridiron Club is sponsoring a car wash fundraiser on July 14th. Coach Patrick, the coaching staff, and the football players have been working hard all summer long to prepare for the upcoming football season. All proceeds from the car wash go the fund the needs of the team.

Bike Biloxi is a bike ride in Downtown Biloxi. There is no charge for this event. Bike lights and helmets are recommended. The ride will take place on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. The ride begins at 6 p.m., and starts at the Biloxi Visitor Center, 1050 Beach Blvd. Bike rental is now available at the Biloxi Visitor Center and MGM Stadium. Bike rental is $3 per hour; you will need to download the Zagster app on your phone from rental. After the bike ride everyone is invited to Biloxi Brewing Company for refreshments.
