The letter said Little's courage, determination, and persistence are the exact qualities that make the best pilots, and that her loss is a loss for all aviators. The letter was accompanied by a pair of FedEx pilot wings. Little's family says she dreamed of flying for the Air Force before flying for FedEx.

A graphic suicide scene in the show 13 Reasons Why is no longer available to watch on Netflix, two years after its debut. Creator Brian Yorkey said the scene was originally intended to tell the truth about the horror of such an act, but people, including psychology experts, have raised concerns. Yorkey said he thinks the new edit will still serve its purpose while mitigating the risk for the most vulnerable young viewers.
