TikToker and aesthetic nurse practitioner injector Miranda Wilson (@np.miranda on TikTok) posted a green screen video showing images of Stranger Things star Natalia Dyer's face and outlining procedures she would recommend to improve her look. The video got an immediate negative reaction and was deleted, but the internet never forgets. Followers had saved the video and it's now all over Twitter, generating a lot of anger, sparking debate about the way we discuss celebrities' physical appearances, and getting written up by the New York Post, Newsweek, and more. Below is a quick rundown of what Miranda would do if she "was Natalia's injector":
- Treat her jawline (masseters) to help slim the face
- Chin filler to make her face more heart-shaped
- A little lip filler to give her a nice pout
- A Botox brow lift to open up her eyes
- Use some Sculptra, which seems to be a filler to get rid of lines
She ends with a Photoshop mock up of what she would do with Natalia's face and side-by-side comparison with her actual face. Pretty rude, overall. People were very upset.
In the wake of the backlash, Wilson has posted a new video to clear the air and explain herself. Here's the text she included with the new post:
hoping to clear the air that I was not suggesting that Natalia NEEDED any of that work it was just an example. Of course Natalia is absolutely stunning the way she is…that’s why she’s so successful. Her photo was simply an example. Im sorry if peole took that as being mean or rude, that was not my intent at all
